With the new term starting, finding a part time job might be on your list of things to do. There are events and activities on campus to help you get sorted so it's a great time to find a part-time job that you can fit around your course, and into your university life.

Discover Student Jobs
The Discover Your Future team is starting the year with three weeks of activities to help you get your ideal student job with the Discover Student Jobs
programme. Week one will help you get ready for the Part-time Jobs and
Volunteering fair; weeks two and three will give you the tools get a
part-time job and do well out of it. For the full programme of

Part-time jobs and Volunteering Fair
Come along to the Part-time jobs and Volunteering Fair and you'll have the chance to meet local employers and community organisations with opportunities in care, languages, events, marketing, hospitality, bars & catering, youth work, children, elderly, tutoring, special needs, homelessness, fundraising, health, environmental, sport, and refugees & asylum seekers. Bring along up-to-date copies of your CV. Thursday October 1st 10.30am-2pm, Octagon.

Taste of Work
If you haven't got any work experience you can start with the Taste of Work scheme. You can do a 3-4 hour work taster in a University or Students’ Union department. Register now to do a short taster experience in customer service, admin, hospitality, finance or something else.
